NUCB Graduate School, Downtown Campus

NUCB Graduate School opened its modern and spacious Fushimi Campus in the heart of the Nagoya financial district in 2001 to tap a broader market by developing innovative MBA programmes, which include a focus on general management, intellectual property, finance, tax accounting, and management information science.

The Tokyo Campus was opened in 2006, followed by the Osaka Campus in 2007. As of September 2008, NGS has over three hundred students taking various Master’s programmes at these three Campuses in Japan. This places NGS in the top 5 business schools in Japan according to student numbers.

NUCB Graduate School is very easily accessed by public transport. It is only one stop east on the Higashiyama line from Nagoya station or less than 10 minutes in a taxi. For those looking for overnight accommodation, we are located next to Nagoya Kanko Hotel, one of the most famous hotels in Nagoya.



Coming from NAGOYA

From the Nagoya Interchange:

Take the NAGOYA-NAGAKUTE highway and get off at the “SAGANE” (Green Road) exit. Just as you exit the off ramp, turn right at the first light: MAEKUMA HIGASHI. As you turn right, go straight and follow the road. The remnants of the AICHI EXPOSITION will be to your left. Follow this road for approximately 2 KM until you reach a massive Pyramid shaped gate. As you enter, stop at the guard post and receive further directions.

Coming from AKAIKE

From National Highway Route 153:

Take “AKAIKE 2 CHOME KITA (NORTH)” Interchange, and turn EAST towards NISSHIN CITY HALL, and stay on this road, as it will bring you directly to the front gate of the University, which is a large white portal type structure.

Coming from MIYOSHI and TOYOTA

From the TOMEI Expressway:

Exit at the MIYOSHI Interchange and stay on the “Old Prefecture Highway” (TOYOTA-CHIRYU ROUTE). Stay on this road and drive towards YASUGA, and make a right hand turn at the OIBASHI Intersection. The University is roughly 5 minutes from the OIBASHI Intersection.

From Nagoya Station

  • Take the Higashiyama line to Fujigaoka station and follow the signs to transfer to the LINIMO line.
  • Take the LINIMO line to Koen Nishi station (Approx. 15 min.).
  • Board the Meitetsu bus bound for Meishodai (NUCB) (Approx. 10 min.).

From Airport (NGO)

  • Take the Meitetsu Airport Bus bound for Toyota city from the Central Japan International Airport (Centrair).
  • Get off at 'Tomei Nisshin.'
  • Take the Meitetsu bus to Meishodai (NUCB) from the stop, 'Higashi Komenoki.' (Approx. 5 min.)

From Hoshigaoka Station (subway)

  • Get off at 'Hoshigaoka' on the Higashiyama line. Go out Exit 3.
  • The Meitetsu bus bound for Meishodai (NUCB) leaves from the bus stop next to "the Coco Curry House" (Approx. 45 min.).
  • (Note: Only one bus per hour)

From Komenoki Station (Meitetsu, Toyota line)

  • Get off at 'Komenoki' on the Toyota line.
  • Take the bus bound for Meishodai (NUCB) from the stop No. 2 (Approx. 15 min.).
  • The Meitetsu bus bound for Meishodai (NUCB) leaves from the bus stop next to "the Coco Curry House" (Approx. 45 min.).
