Dr. Masaki Mizobuchi is an Assistant Professor in Faculty of Economics in Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, where he has taught since 2014. He received Ph.D. in Area Studies from Sophia University (Tokyo, Japan) in 2012, and B.A. in Cross Cultural Studies from Kobe University (Hyogo, Japan) in 2006. Previously, he served as an Ernest May Fellow in History and Policy at Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs in Harvard Kennedy School in 2013-2014, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) / Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 2012-2013, and as a Research Fellow of the Japan Forum on International Relations (JFIR) in 2011.

1984年香川県生まれ。2006年神戸大学国際文化学部コミュニケーション学科卒業。2011年上智大学大学院グローバル・スタディーズ研究科地域研究専攻博士後期課程単位取得退学。2012年に上智大学より博士(地域研究)を取得。博士課程在学中にはシリア・レバノンへの留学を経験。その後、公益財団法人日本国際フォーラム研究員、日本学術振興会特別研究員(PD)、ハーバード大学ジョン・F・ケネディ公共政策大学院ベルファー科学・国際関係センター研究員などを経て、現職。
