Profile

Yizhou Lan (aka. Anthony) holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics at the City University of Hong Kong and a B.A. in English literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University. He had taught English and linguistics in these two institutions as teaching assistants. His primary research interest includes (a) second language acquisition (SLA), especially how L2 leaners respond to foreign sounds, (b) pronunciation teaching and training, and (c) speech sciences in general. He is also a certified English-Chinese consecutive interpreter.
