Profile

Mioko Miyama received her M.A. and B.A. degree in English Linguistics from the University of Tokyo. After conducting research at University of Massachusetts, Amherst as a Fulbright Fellow in 2014-2015, she is currently a Doctoral Candidate in English Linguistics at the University of Tokyo. She has been working on theoretical linguistics, especially comparative syntax and semantics of nominal expressions.

東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科英語英米文学専門分野修士課程修了。米国マサチューセッツ大学アマースト校への研究者としての留学を経て東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科英語英米文学専門分野博士課程単位取得満期退学、2017年より現職。理論言語学を専門とし、主に統語論と意味論の分野において、日英語の比較対照研究を行う。現在の研究内容は「名詞句内部の統語構造と意味計算」「日英語における連言と選言の意味内容」。
