Dr. Koyama's research interests include language assessment, task-based language teaching (TBLT) and collaborative learning, with a special focus on issues related to learners’ use of resources in complex task conditions. He has published in numerous international journals, including Language Learning & Technology, Language Testing, and Language Assessment Quarterly.
