Nagoya University of Commerce & Business was established in 1953. It was authorised by the Ministry of Education to serve as a four-year, Baccalaureate degree granting institution of higher learning.

The founder, Dr. Yuichi Kurimoto, formed the cornerstone of the NUCB and NUCB Graduate School educational philosophy. The University offers a variety of well-designed courses to foster the development of influential managers and executives to lead business activities.
