THE NUCB PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMBridging the Gap between East and West

Participants need to be adept at recognizing the complexities of global business, and at adapting their companies' strategies, marketing, finances, and management to different cultures, economic conditions, and political situations. This is especially true in central Europe today, as the region is undergoing multiple significant changes with the introduction of the EU. On one side, the ongoing development and expansion of markets throughout Asia and the Americas confronts businesses with new opportunities for growth, as trade barriers dissolve, and new challenges, as the "rules of the game" change.
The overall purpose of this Alliance Program is to provide participants an opportunity to be exposed to the international business environment and practices outside Japan. In addition, this program provides participants an opportunity to develop insight into the cultural, social, and political environments of each country to be visited. Participation in the Alliance Program is a unique way for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in international business, or a related field, to acquire a firsthand view of international business practices, and experience the excitement of traveling outside the Japan.
Qualified applicants to the Alliance Program will receive a generous scholarship, which covers the cost of tuition, airfare, and provides a small monthly stipend. Selection of candidates is based on a TOEFL score of over 550, GPA and an interview. In addition, participants can transfer up to ten credit hours to an MBA degree, if they elect to continue on with their studies at The NUCB Business School.
