Globalization means breaking boundaries

An international experience can be an exciting, life-changing opportunity open to you here. NUCB annually sends more than 200 students overseas to study, home stay, do research, intern in companies, and even to participate in volunteer projects.

NUCB endeavors to offer a full range of options regarding program type, length, location and financial support. For example, the length of the program varies from a few weeks in summer for the International Volunteer Project, to an entire term for the Frontier Spirit Program. A limited number of programs can be undertaken for up to a full academic year.

Typically, locations reflect the language of study. For example, English majors joining the Frontier Spirit Program go to the University of Manchester (UK), while Chinese majors go to Beijing University of Foreign Studies (China). In total, through programs and partnerships, NUCB students have studied in more than 20 different countries throughout the world.
