The embassies of Germany and France, where the number of Japanese participants is highest, have recognized the value of, and have given their support to these projects.

International Volunteer Projects are not selected on their participant gender, nationality, race, or religion. The foremost objective of these projects is that a diverse group of participans cooperate by putting to use their respective abilities, and work together while reaching a mutual understanding of each other. While the work is of course important, one should not forget to participate actively in other daily tasks such as cooking and cleaning, as well as weekend activities, and to take initiative as a member of the group.
