Nagoya City is the capital of Aichi-prefecture. It is sometimes regarded as the 3rd largest city in Japan, since the city population swells to over 4 million people during business hours. Aichi itself is one of three prefectures that make up the Tokai are; the other two prefectures being Mie and Gifu. The central part of Japan comprises nine prefectures with Aichi serving as the economic and industrial center. The area is often referred to the CHUBU REGION.

Although the area is often considered to be the halfway point between Tokyo and Osaka, it is, in fact much closer to Osaka. Nagoya is approximately 366 km southeast of Tokyo, and 190 km northwest of Osaka.

Nagoya is very well connected and served by air, rail and road. Please click on the links for information on how to access the NUCB Nisshin Campus and the campus of the NUCB Business School located in the downtown Nagoya business district known as the Fushimi area.
