Naheen Madarbakus-Ring

Biography

Naheen Madarbakus-Ring is a Lecturer at NUCB. Her main research interests are Second Language (L2) Listening, Language Learning Strategies, and Curriculum Development. She aims to broaden our understanding of how to use listening theories more practically in learning. She is also interested in developing materials for learners to improve their listening both in and out of the classroom. Her research has appeared in the Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Korea TESOL Journal, and LEARN Journal: Language Education and Acquisition Research Network. Her research has been funded by KOTESOL Research Grants and Victoria University of Wellington Doctoral Submission Grants.
