Wenjing Li

Biography

Wendy Li is an Assistant Professor at NUCB. Her research focuses on the Social Aspects of Second Language Learning and Teaching. Her main research interests include Second Language (L2) Teacher Identity and Teacher Emotions, L2 Socialization, and Multilingual and Multimodal Literacy Practices. Her research has appeared in journals such as Language Learning, English Today, the Journal of AsiaTEFL, and Chinese Journal of Applied Linguistics, as well as in a variety of edited volumes with top presses. Her dissertation research has also been founded by The International Research Foundation for English Language Education’s (TIRF) Doctoral Dissertation Grants. She is currently a PhD candidate at Michigan State University. She holds an M.A. in TESOL from Lancaster University in the UK.

Second language teacher identity and emotions, Second language socialization, multilingual and multimodal literacy practices, qualitative research methods
