Xuehong  He

Biography

Xuehong He, better known as Stella, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Faculty of International Studies at the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business in Japan. As a teacher-scholar, Stella’s teaching and research experience has come from China, Japan, and the United States. She has taught English and Chinese as second/foreign languages from novice to advanced levels to children and adults in face-to-face and online settings. She has also offered face-to-face and online teacher education/applied linguistics courses and workshops to pre-service and in-service second/foreign language instructors at undergraduate and graduate levels. In her research, Stella has mainly adopted cognitive and psycholinguistic approaches to investigate issues in second/foreign language teaching and learning, especially in technology-enhanced settings.
