For outgoing double degree students

Program Layout

After successfully completing two/three years of study at NUCB Undergraduate School and one/two year(s) of study at one of our partner schools listed below (the duration depends on the partner) along with all the requirements, students in our Double Degree Program (DDP) can obtain two Bachelor degrees. This unique program provides an advanced experience in international education and the unique opportunity to graduate with 2 degrees from 2 different countries to further your career in the global business community. Participation in the DDP allows you to pay your tuition fees at NUCB Undergraduate School instead of paying at the host institution.

Benefits of the Double Degree

  • Two degrees: from our school and a prestigious partner school
  • Exemption of paying tuition fee at the partner school as part of the partnership agreement, you only pay your regular tuition fee at our school
  • Scholarship: Airfare - round trip (economy class arranged by the school)
  • You can graduate in the usual 4 years as you will transfer credits back from the partner school (for certain courses, depending on the content, the credits may not be transferred)
  • Courses are taught in English – no requirements of the local language (although, we recommend you to learn it as part of the international experience and for your personal knowledge to know an extra language)

Application Requirements

  • Average GPA: 2.6 or more
  • Attendance rate: 95% or more
  • TOEF iBT: 80 or more
  • TOEIC: 750 or more
  • Partner school's requirements (if any)

How to Apply

  • Complete the application form and procedures as a regular degree student
  • Consult with the International Affairs before enrollment
  • Inform your choice of Double Degree Program's school
  • Nomination to the partner school and completion of additional application documents
  • Complete the application and receive results of the application

Before December for a start in September the next year.


For incoming double degree students

Program Layout

NUCB Undergraduate School's Double Degree Program follows a 2+2 model, where students spend their first 2 years at their home institution and the following 2 years at NUCB Undergraduate School. This unique program provides the unique opportunity to graduate with 2 degrees: the one from your home institution and Bachelor of Business Administration from NUCB Undergraduate School. The 2 years spent in Japan will give students advanced and valuable experience of the country, during which they can hone their skills in Japanese language and learn the culture, establish a strong network, which would assist the students in possibly finding a job in Japan.

Degree awarding

Students must successfully complete all the requirements at their host institution and at NUCB Undergraduate School in order to be awarded the Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Requirements:

  • Successfully acquire 64 NUCB credits (96 ECTS credits) through the 2 years
  • Mainly enroll in Year 3 and Year 4 courses
  • Japanese language courses are optional
  • Original Case as capstone project for graduation (bachelor thesis)

How to Apply

Students from the above partner schools, who are keen in the Double Degree Program, should contact their home institution's coordinator and follow the internal procedure in order to be nominated at NUCB Undergraduate School as a double degree student.
