The NUCB Online Winter Program (Jan. 2021)


The NUCB Undergraduate School and the NUCB Business School are proud to jointly announce the launch of the first-ever NUCB Online Winter Program, Business for a Better World. Providing students with an opportunity for interaction and academic growth during their winter break, the program consists of a week of online lectures at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supplemented by presentations from industry experts and culminating in a final group project and presentation.

Thorough analysis and discussion of shifts in consumer and organizational behavior toward the main pillars of sustainability will delve into the key factors informing the decisions of tomorrow’s business leaders, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG).

Completion of the program will earn students academic credits and a Certificate of Completion, as well as an international network with participants and speakers from all over the world!

The NUCB Online Summer Program (Aug. 2020)

The NUCB Undergraduate School launched its Online Summer Program in the Summer of 2020, and the subsequent editions are planned to be held in Japan!
This program, Leading Through a Crisis, aimed to give participants an opportunity to diversify their summer break by joining a digital week made up of online lectures, keynotes from experts and insights into leadership in crisis times. Participants learned about leadership, crisis & risk management, family businesses, innovation, organizational and societal changes, based on Japan during this global pandemic. Successful completion awarded students credits and a certificate, while this platform also served to establish an international network with participants from all over the world and develop their intercultural competences!

Lectures & final session: 200 mins. each

Summer/Winter Programs at partner schools


Summer/Winter Programs are available during Term 2 or Term 4 in 55 partner schools from 28 countries, where students will spend approximately 1 month with various intensive courses on many different topics (unique expertise offered by the partner schools), as well as cultural and social activities, and company visits organized by the partner school.

Summer/Winter Programs are available during Term 2 or Term 4 in 55 partner schools from 28 countries, where students will spend approximately 1 month with various intensive courses on many different topics (unique expertise offered by the partner schools), as well as cultural and social activities, and company visits organized by the partner school.

Summer/Winter Programs are available during Term 2 or Term 4 in 55 partner schools from 28 countries, where students will spend approximately 1 month with various intensive courses on many different topics (unique expertise offered by the partner schools), as well as cultural and social activities, and company visits organized by the partner school.


Target Year 2 students or higher
Eligibility criteria GPA 2.20 or higher, attendance rate 95% or higher, TOEIC 550 points or higher and language requirements set by the partner school
Scholarship Airfare - round trip (economy class arranged by the school)
Tuition fee of the partner school’s summer program (up to JPY 50,000 or JPY 100,000 depending on GPA)
Period and length June - August (3 - 4 weeks) / December - January (3 - 4 weeks)
Credits Students can transfer up to 10 credits from the partner school based on the grades
