NUCB Summer/Winter Program

NUCB Virtual Summer Program (Aug. 2021)

The NUCB Undergraduate School and the NUCB Business School are proud to continue their joint cooperation of offering seasonal short-term programs with the Virtual Summer Program, Leading Mindful Digitalization. Providing an opportunity for interaction and academic growth during the summer break, the program consists of a week of lectures at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supplemented by presentations from industry experts and culminating in a final group project and presentation.

Analysis of the various stages of digital transformation will be modeled from the internal processes within an organization to the external environment involving consumers. Participants will explore how to leverage digital technologies, applying design thinking to accelerate the transformation, instill a digital leadership, and understand consumer behavior through rich data. However, mindfulness might be the difference between also-ran and successful digital efforts. Managers must be mindful about internal and external customer pains before plotting digital strategies and investing in technologies.

Completion of the program will earn participants academic credits and a Certificate of Completion, as well as an international network with participants and speakers from all over the world!

What are the benefits of the program?

  • Discover the current trends, opportunities and challenges of digital transformation
  • Live and interactive sessions to engage in discussions with professors & peers
  • Meet, listen and discuss with experts
  • Make this your first step prior to coming to Japan in the near future
  • Group project to develop intercultural & decision-making competences
  • Certificate of Completion and extra credits this summer
