Riga Business School, Riga Technical University
Riga Business School (RBS) is a management education institution established within Riga Technical University (RTU) in 1991, in cooperation with the University at Buffalo (United States) and the University of Ottawa (Canada). RBS was the first institution in the Baltic States to offer an MBA program taught entirely in English.
Since 2012, RBS has also offered a Bachelor’s program in International Business Administration in collaboration with BI Norwegian Business School and the University at Buffalo. Its MBA program has built a strong reputation, and many of its more than 1,000 graduates now hold top management positions both in Latvia and internationally.
RBS is also the only business school in the Baltic States to provide a North American-style MBA education incorporating case studies, group work, and interactive classroom methods. Through its North American approach to business education, English-medium instruction, and strong commitment to academic quality, RBS has established a distinctive position extending beyond Latvia itself.
