Biography
Yuma Osaki received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Doshisha University. He has also been enrolled at the Crawford School of Public Policy of the Australian National University, pursuing another Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations. He holds an M.A. in Comparative Political Studies from Doshisha University and an LL.M. from the University of Sheffield, as well as a B.A. in Global Political Economy from Waseda University.
He has previously held a National Parliamentary Fellowship between Australia and Japan and an Indo-Pacific Fellowship at the PerthUSAsia Centre.
His research examines the theory and practice of Asian economic diplomacy, with a particular focus on international trade issues and regional integration, as well as geo-economic developments in the Indo-Pacific.
