Biography
Yiming Jia completed the Doctoral Program at the Graduate School of Humanities, Nagoya University, in 2024. She previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Nagoya University’s Center for Gender Diversity before assuming her current position in April 2025. She specializes in sociolinguistics and conducts research on the relationship between gender and language, with a particular focus on the language use of sexual minorities. She is also interested in contrastive linguistics between Japanese and Chinese, as well as Chinese language pedagogy.
