Double Degree in France: Student Voice

Mayua, a student on the Japanese-led BBA Program at Nagoya Campus has flown to France to participate in the Double Degree Program in English at Toulouse Business School, a top business school in Europe.

She previously joined the NUCB Gap Year Program, traveling to England, France, Germany, Switzerland, as well as taking a virtual winter program with Audencia Business School in France. We caught up with her to learn more about her reasons to take on the challenge of a double degree.

"I want to expand my possibilities for the future"

I thought that studying abroad for a long time and obtaining a degree from a partner school would expand my possibilities after graduation.

Through the experiences of the two completely different study abroad programs, I have realized the importance of seeing and thinking about things from a broader perspective.

What is the Double Degree Program?

After successfully completing two/three years of study at NUCB Undergraduate School and one/two year(s) of study at one of our partner schools listed below (the duration depends on the partner) along with all the requirements, students in our Double Degree Program (DDP) can obtain two Bachelor degrees. This unique program provides an advanced experience in international education and the unique opportunity to graduate with 2 degrees from 2 different countries to further your career in the global business community. Participation in the DDP allows you to pay your tuition fees at NUCB Undergraduate School instead of paying at the host institution.

Mayua, a third-year student at Nagoya Campus, is participating in a double degree program at Toulouse Business School in France from September 2021 to March 2022. In addition, the program includes a long-term internship at a local company as a part of the curriculum, allowing students to put their acquired knowledge to practical use and experience global business firsthand.
