NUCB and ICHEC sign a partnership agreement at the Belgian Economic Mission to Japan

NUCB Undergraduate School is pleased to announce a new exchange partnership with the ICHEC Brussels Management School in Belgium, making it our 116th student exchange agreement in 52 countries.

Prof. Hiroyuki Kurimoto (Chancellor of NUCB) and Prof. Brigitte Chanoine (Rector of ICHEC) officialized the signing of this new partnership at the Belgian Economic Mission to Japan on December 5th, 2022, presided by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium. This Belgian Economic Mission to Japan was the largest Belgian Economic Mission to any country with around 600 people, and brought forward new developments in the relationship between the 2 countries, renewing and further intensifying the trade and investment relations, and as part of this mission, several academic, business, and official agreements were signed.

It was within this framework that both Schools established this partnership to promote friendship and to cooperate in a mutually beneficial association that fosters a deeper relationship between Belgium and Japan.

Accredited by AACSB, ICHEC is a Brussels-based management school, constituting the economic category of the "Haute École ICHEC - ECAM - ISFSC" with several training and research centers, and beyond being a management school, it is also a community on a human scale where everyone carefully considers and implements strategies that guarantee the reputation and high standards with which the school has always been associated.

This new partnership also reflects the nature of both of our schools, sharing similar mission and values, as we strive to develop and educate talents to become responsible as well as open-minded managers, who can then embrace a lifelong learning.
