College of Economics and Political Science, Sultan Qaboos University

Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) is the biggest and the oldest public university in the Sultanate of Oman. Established in 1986, It is located in Al Khoudh in the Muscat Governorate and is also the only public University in the Sultanate. Its mission is to excel in teaching and learning, research, innovation, and community service by promoting the principles of scientific analysis and creative thinking. The institution has nine colleges in total: medicine, engineering, agriculture, education, science, arts, commerce and economics, law and nursing. Altogether, the campus portrays the rich heritage of Oman and Islam while incorporating all the efficiencies of modern life. The result is an educational and living environment which is both functional and attractive.
