Gymnasium

The Nagoya University of Commerce and Business Gymnasium is the size of three basketball courts; many clubs such as the basketball club, badminton club, volleyball club, and handball club utilize the facilities every day. This facility is also used for various ceremonies and events such as the Graduation Ceremony and Matriculation Ceremony. There are 1,500 seats for the spectators, and the flooring is made of Asada Cherry wood, which famous for its acoustic properties. The Gymnasium is also used as a live venue by popular artists at the NUCB's Annual “Sagamine Festival” in October.

A Word from the Captain of the Badminton Club

We practice in the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business Gymnasium. In addition to the number of courts it can accommodate, the the gym is large enough to allow us to practice while other club activities are happening at the same time. In addition, we can gradually become friends with students from other clubs, and exchanges increase even outside the club. I think this gymnasium is a place not just improving your skills, but a place where you can find something more important.
