The Faculty of Commerce at NUCB Undergraduate School continues to take on our founder's desire to "provide the best commercial education," and continues to take on the challenge of providing innovative and practical learning.

The Faculty of Commerce aims to develop talent who can play an active role in the real world.

  • SKILLS: We will utilize knowledge to develop talent with the practical skills necessary to solve problems.
  • ATTITUDE: We will cultivate talented people who are proactive, take initiative and challenge new fields.

In short, it is the training of 3 guiding concepts: Specialization・Implementation ・ Resourcefulness

Three Features of NUCB Undergraduate School Faculty of Commerce

1. Internationally Accredited

We were the first undergraduate school in Japan to achieve the much sought after AACSB accreditation.

2. Active learning

In a real business scenario, things that aren't written in textbooks often happen. You can use cases to get closer to the real essence of business. As a result of these improvements, students have become actively involved in the classes. Student attendance and satisfaction are also very high.

3. Specialization ・Implementation ・ Resourcefulness

The Faculty of Commerce at NUCB Undergraduate School aims to develop the following skills: "Specialization," "Implementation," and "Resourcefulness."

In the Faculty of Commerce, you will first learn about all aspects of business in an all-inclusive and comprehensive manner. We will then focus on three main areas: Marketing, Accounting, and Finance in a more concentrated and specialized way. This is what we mean when we say Specialization.

I look forward to the chance to meet you on campus.

Yuji Ono,
Director of the Faculty of Commerce
