Ikuo Takahashi

Biography

He earned his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Business and Commerce at Keio University. After serving as a Professor at the Faculty of Business and Commerce, Keio University, he was appointed Professor Emeritus in 2023. He served as a Professor at the School of Business, Aoyama Gakuin University from April of the same year, and joined the Faculty of Commerce at Nagoya University of Commerce & Business as a Professor in April 2026.
His research focuses on Marketing and Consumer Behavior, particularly brand marketing strategies. In addition to his academic career, he has held key leadership roles, including Executive Director of Keio University. He currently serves as an Outside Director for Taiyo Life Insurance and Chairman of the Japan Industrial Association, bridging academic theory with business practice.
