Toshio Nagahisa

Biography

Toshio Nagahisa is in his current position after working as Chief Research Officer/Managing Director, at PHP Research Institute, the policy thinktank founded by Konosuke Matsushita, where he has been involved in policy making and evaluations in the national and local governments, while making policy recommendations to them and the public. He was appointed as Secretary General of the Committee for Vision of Japan, Council for National Strategy from Noda administration and has been continuously engaged in project reviewing conducted by Administrative Reform Bureau, Cabinet Secretariat. He also attended to policy making and reviewing at Suginami-City, Atami-CIty and Kanagawa Prefecture. In addition, he has delivered lectures as a visiting professor to Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Kansai U, Takushoku U, Kaetsu U and so on. He is a senior adviser to Japan Initiative, a policy thinktank located in Tokyo, as well.
