Biography
After obtaining a Master’s degree in European Studies and a Ph.D. in International Studies from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo, studied abroad at Sciences Po Strasbourg. My research focuses on International Relations, with a particular emphasis on the immigration and refugee policies of the European Union (EU) and France, analyzed from legal and political perspectives. Recently, I have been exploring the foreign policies of the EU and Japan during this period of transformation in the liberal international order, with special attention to their relations with international institutions such as the International Criminal Court (ICC).
