Reframing National Memory: Stories from Australia and Japan

For Australians, the Pacific War was a war on Japan. The memory of war is characterized by a marked asymmetry between nations. This book is an attempt to capture the Pacific War as the history of the region divided by the war between Japan and Australia by carefully spinning out the experiences and memories of the Taihei War between the people of Japan and Australia.
