Biography

Dr. Hyelim You graduated from Kyunghee University in Korea, majoring in Politics and Economics, and completed her Master’s and LL.D degrees from the Faculty of Law, Kyoto University where she was a recipient of the Japanese Government scholarship. She won the 2016 Best Paper Award in recognition of the outstanding doctoral dissertation in Kyoto University. Dr. You has published ‘Comaprative Institutional Analysis of FTA Policies between Japan and Korea (Japanese)’, based on her dissertation. She had been serving as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law, Kyoto University from April of 2016 to March of 2018. Currently, her research interests include Comparative Analysis on FTA policy in East Asia and the institutional relationship between WTO and FTA. She is particularly interested in the leadership structure of political leader in FTA Policies.
