HBS Case Method - Celebrating 100 Years of Case Method Teaching & Learning - Special Lecture

NUCB (Chancellor: Hiroyuki Kurimoto), the first business school in Japan to receive all three major international accreditations (Triple Crown; AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA), is the only institution to introduce the case method as a sole teaching style in undergraduate education.

In addition, our school operates the Japan Case Center in collaboration with Harvard Business School (HBS) to further advance the case method. 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the case method as a teaching method for leadership education by HBS, and to celebrate this year, commemorative events are being held around the world. On June 17 (Friday), we will help organize the "HBS Case Method Centennial Lecture" hosted by the HBS Japan Research Center, which will be held for the first time in Japan as follows.
