Internationally active researchers

The International Journal of Information Management (IJIM) is an international, peer-reviewed journal published by Elsevier, Elsevier, a Netherlands-based academic publishing company and a well-known publisher of international academic journals dedicated to providing advanced analysis and discussion in the field of management information.

IJIM focuses on high quality articles that contribute to the development of theory and practice, especially on contemporary issues related to information management.  The journal ranks 1 out of 86 journals in the "Information Science & Library Science" field by Impact Factor, "A*" in the ABDC Journal Rank, and "Q1" in the SJR, making it a top journal.

The paper presented by Professor Wong explores how employees behave when faced with information systems (IS) that inadequately support their work. Previous research has not fully understood the relationship between information system imperfections and employee avoidance behavior. Drawing on workaround theory and coping theory, the authors develop a research model that links inadequate IS with corporate policy and employee attitudes to workaround behaviour. The paper discusses the implications of the study for practice and research, as well as future directions and theoretical possibilities.

The NUCB Business School is the only Triple Crown business school in Japan with AACSB International, AMBA (Association of MBAs) and EQUIS accreditation. This makes the school stand out in Japan as one of the most internationally multi-dimensional options for those who want to earn their degree in Japan.
