Virtual Exchange and Domestic Volunteer Programs

International Exchange Program Information Session

More than 200 students attended a briefing session at the Nisshin Campus from the International Affairs Department on the new programs launching this summer.

Although COVID-19 is currently limiting opportunities for interaction, many students are taking on the challenge of available programs, including virtual study abroad programs and domestic volunteering. NUCB offers a variety of programs to help students deepen their understanding of different cultures and improve their language skills, even in situations where travel is difficult.

Virtual Study Abroad

Our School has over 100 partner schools across more than 40 countries, with many schools offering virtual exchange opportunities. You can read more about our Global BBA student Deano from Indonesia and his experience with Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University here and Huyen from Vietnam on our Japanese track on her experience with York University, Schulich School of Business here.

There are also virtual language programs offered during summer vacation with the opportunity to study English at Queen's University (Canada), Chinese with CUHK (Hong Kong), or Korean at Yonsei University (South Korea).

Domestic Volunteer Project (Summer)

This is a program in which international students and Japanese students collaborate in volunteer activities. During the two-week activity period, all participants communicate in English, and through this activity they will be able to contribute to society and interact with other cultures.
