Beijing Institute of Technology is one of China’s key national universities, excelling not only in science and engineering but also making significant advances in the humanities and social sciences. It has three campuses in Beijing, and doctoral programs are offered across all faculties.
Founded in 1940 by the Chinese Communist Party as the country’s first science and engineering university, it has developed into a major center for cultivating high-level scientific and technological talent, particularly in the field of national defense.
