A.K successfully graduated in the fall of 2023, completing a rewarding journey as a Global BBA student at NUCB. Throughout his university life, A.K seized numerous opportunities, participating in internships and study abroad programs. Exposure to the case method and university experiences has transformed him into a confident and outgoing individual, a remarkable shift from his introverted freshman days. We recently caught up with him to gain insights into his post-graduation life.

How does it feel to have graduated?

Graduating is an immensely gratifying experience. It has brought a sense of maturity and a heightened commitment to working diligently towards achieving my long-held aspirations. I feel a profound sense of responsibility and, simultaneously, a strong desire to acquire new skills through continued experiences, contributing to my personal and professional growth.

What have you learnt at NUCB as a Global BBA Student?

As a GBBA student at NUCB over the past four years, I've gained extensive academic knowledge and insights from my college life. NUCB provided a comprehensive understanding of business and management across various markets. The case study method enhanced my decision-making skills, contributing to effective workplace decisions.

You've grown significantly since being a freshman. What do you consider your most improved skill?

Studying at NUCB not only expanded my academic knowledge but also fostered personal growth. Thanks to the case study method and supportive professors, I've become a confident and extroverted individual.

How would you describe your four-year experience at NUCB?

Amazing. The past four years at NUCB have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience, marked by personal and academic growth.

I had the privilege of studying at Queen’s University, Canada on a JASSO Scholarship, exploring intriguing courses that provided fresh perspectives on management and business. This experience also allowed me to travel to renowned Canadian destinations, fostering connections with diverse individuals and deepening my understanding of their culture.

Throughout my NUCB journey, I engaged in three internships, serving as a sales development intern and HR intern across different industries. These experiences were instrumental in familiarizing me with industry standards and real-life management practices. Importantly, they also enlightened me on how cultural differences and company backgrounds significantly impact business management. The insights gained from these internships continue to play a pivotal role in navigating my current professional endeavors.


Q. What is the job you have chosen after graduation? Please tell us more?

My childhood passion for the gemstone and jewelry business has become a reality as I am currently employed in a company within this industry in Japan. It brings me great satisfaction to affirm that the knowledge I acquired during my studies at NUCB is proving to be valuable and beneficial in my current professional role.

Do you have any advice for your juniors or those considering NUCB?

Keep on learning new things and never be shy to approach new opportunities.
