Business Plan Contest Information Session to be Held
This year marks the inaugural business contest at Nagoya University of Commerce and Business. This contest aims to cultivate practical skills for multifaceted analysis of new goals and challenges, proactive idea planning and execution, and nurturing talent that contributes to the development of the business world and society. Entries will be evaluated by judges based on “Feasibility,” “Novelty/Originality,” “Sustainability,” and “Passion.” Grants will be awarded to the Grand Prize, Excellence Prize, and Idea Prize winners. Two information sessions were recently held, attracting a total of 50 participating students.
We look forward to the innovative creativity of students.
Dean Yuji Ono of the Faculty of Commerce, which is hosting the business contest, explained the purpose and selection process for this contest, with participants listening intently. During the Q&A session, students asked a variety of questions. This high level of student interest is evident as the contest prepares for its inaugural event. Applications open on Monday, September 13th. Following document screening, the final judging (presentations) will take place on Wednesday, December 8th. Open to all years and faculties, with no theme restrictions. Participation is possible as individuals or teams. We look forward to enthusiastic applications from students eager to demonstrate their academic achievements in practice, have their business ideas evaluated, or find something to dedicate themselves to.
