Launch of the Intensive Program Combining Case and Field Methods
The Intensive Education Program, which effectively integrates the “Case Method” (learning through discussion) and the “Field Method” (learning through experience), has begun in the School of Commerce for the fall semester.
This year, under Professor Masahiko Kamekura’s course “Field Practice,” students will create PR videos for local companies where they complete internships, incorporating marketing perspectives unique to the School of Commerce.
In the first class session, students explored questions such as “What defines a video unique to NUCB’s School of Commerce?” and “What is the purpose of a PR video and who is the target audience?” They also learned about the specific steps involved in the production process. Having acquired essential video production skills, the students are now preparing to begin filming during their upcoming internships.
