City University of Hong Kong Study Tour: Visit to NUCB Undergraduate School

NUCB was proud to welcome a study tour from the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on the 24th of June, 2024. The tour consisted of 20 students and 2 staff members, and students had the chance to experience a number of activities on our campus including a lecture, campus tour, and lunch.

Lecture and Campus Tour

The visit from CityU commenced with a special lecture organized by Dr. Louie Wong, one of our associate deans from NUCB Business School. The lecture, which focused on AI, was well-received by both our guests from CityU. Following the lecture, attendees were given an opportunity to report their findings in front of the class, fostering insightful discussions.

Following this, our guests were shown around with a campus tour. Several NUCB students volunteered to help with the tour, and answered any questions CityU students had. The tour provided an opportunity for CityU students to experience our vibrant campus life and learn more about the unique academic and cultural environment at NUCB. Finally, the tour ended with a lunch at one of our cafeterias, Sora Cafe. A number of our students also joined in for lunch, engaging in lively discussions with our guests. These interactions fostered cross-cultural understanding and exchange.
