NUCB International College (NIC) Opening Soon!
Our parent company, KEI - Kurimoto Educational Institution (学校法人栗本学園, Gakkō hōjin kurimoto gakuen), is planning to open a new boarding school for the high school level where instruction will be delivered entirely in English.
KEI currently operates NUCB Undergraduate and Graduate School as well as an international junior and senior high school.
The newly established high school will bring global talent to campus to study in an exceptionally diverse environment utilizing the case method as Japan's only full boarding international school.
Features of NIC
Boarding School
Studying at NUCB International College (NIC) provides high school students from around the world with a unique opportunity to study in a progressive academic program with top-class resources on the picturesque Nagoya University of Commerce and Business campus in the suburbs of Nagoya.
Students will acquire highly developed thinking and personal skills which will allow them to have multiple career pathway options both in Japan and abroad. They will live and study in an international community with a wealth of cultures, perspectives, and experiences for them to draw from as they hone their qualities as leaders and team players with the capacity to shape the future global society.
Case method adopted in all classes
Our boarding school will utilize the case method as an innovative approach to delivering lessons, drawing on our experience from the undergraduate and graduate school mode of teaching.
The case method is a teaching method adopted by the best business schools around the world. Participants hold group discussions based on teaching materials called "cases" and exchange opinions with each other. Students can gain independence by actively expressing their opinion in class.
One Program - Dual Certificates
Upon graduation, students will obtain dual domestic and international diplomas to enroll in universities not only in Japan but also overseas.
