Case Study: What is wrong with KYUBI venture?
The case centers on Fahad, a 20-year-old undergraduate student at Brawijaya University in Indonesia, who leads the Kyubi team, a student venture facing challenges in its early stages. Despite team instability, competency issues, and struggles to validate business assumptions, Fahad sees value in Kyubi's journey as an R&D project. Now, he's contemplating handing over control to his university's research lab.
Learning from Microspace Inc.'s CEO
Students had the opportunity to talk through Zoom with Katayama Sho, the CEO of Microspace Inc., a company innovating in real estate and parking solutions through AI. Hearing from industry leaders gave students valuable insights into navigating the startup landscape.
Building Bridges: Crafting Feasible Business Models
Students were tasked with creating business models that promote interaction and opportunities for international students. Leveraging the resources at NUCB, particularly Sora Cafe, students aimed to generate a profit of 10,000 yen by the end of the course.
In this session, students didn't just learn about business models — they embarked on a journey of exploration and innovation, ready to tackle the challenges and opportunities of startup life.
