Cultural Enrichment Activities - Fall 2024 Nisshin High School Visit

On October 25, 2024, the International Affairs office and faculty at Nisshin High School hosted a collaborative exchange event. The gathering brought together international students from NUCB and Nisshin High School students, creating an engaging atmosphere for cultural exchange and interaction.

Intercultural Exchange

A Nisshin High School class representative opened the visit with a welcome, setting up an opportunity for students to practice English with NUCB international students. The aim was to help them become more comfortable with casual conversation in English. Each Nisshin student had prepared a presentation to share, looking forward to feedback from NUCB students.

For a warm start, the students were paired up, allowing them to engage in short, simple conversations. Nisshin students adapted and practiced speaking English. Later, each student gave their presentation, sharing their work. For many of the Japanese students from Nisshin High School, it was their first time to interact with international students with diverse backgrounds.

To wrap up, some NUCB students stood up in front of the class to introduce themselves. The students described their background, and what drew to Japan. In addition, a Q&A took place, where the Japanese students were given the opportunity to ask questions about their life in Japan.

The day proved to be a success, with many students finding it to be a valuable experience for gaining cultural insights and broadening their perspectives.

Global BBA Program

The Global BBA program at NUCB is designed for students looking to gain a strong foundation in business with a global perspective. Taught entirely in English, the program combines rigorous academic training with hands-on experiences, focusing on case studies, leadership skills, and cross-cultural understanding. Students work closely with international faculty and peers from diverse backgrounds, preparing them for careers in today’s interconnected business world. Through this unique program, NUCB aims to cultivate forward-thinking leaders ready to excel in global settings.
