2024 External Scholarship Recipients

At NUCB, we take great pride in supporting international students not only through academics and campus life but also by connecting them with opportunities for financial support. In the 2024 academic year, 4 of our students were awarded prestigious external scholarships in recognition of their potential and dedication to their studies.

Ichihara International Scholarship Foundation


Sameer (Pakistan, 2nd Year GBBA)

Congratulations to Sharon (Malaysia, Faculty of Commerce) and Sameer (Pakistan, Global BBA), for being selected as recipients of the Ichihara International Scholarship Foundation, receiving ¥50,000 per month to support their studies.

Total scholarship: ¥50,000 x 12 months = ¥600,000

This scholarship is awarded to only a select few students in Aichi Prefecture each year.


Daiko Scholarship Foundation


Congratulations to Liu (China, Faculty of Management) for being awarded a scholarship from the Taiko Foundation, which provides ¥40,000 per month to help students achieve their academic goals in Japan.

Total scholarship: ¥40,000 x 12 months = ¥480,000


Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) Scholarship


Reza (Indonesia, 2nd Year GBBA)

Congratulations to Reza (Indonesia, Global BBA) for having received the JEES Scholarship, which will provide ¥40,000 per month for two years.
This scholarship is highly competitive, with only around 50 students in Japan being selected each year.

Total scholarship: ¥40,000 x 24 months = ¥960,000

Assuran International Scholarship Foundation

Last but not least, two continuing students are currently receiving the Assuran International Scholarship, which provides ¥100,000 per month for 2 years. Oh (South Korea, Faculty of International Studies) and Ngan (Vietnam, Faculty of Commerce) were selected in 2023 and are now in the second year of their scholarship term.
This scholarship supports privately financed international students from Asian countries who are studying at universities or graduate schools in Japan.

Total scholarship: ¥100,000 x 24 months = ¥2,400,000


Oh (S. Korea) and Ngan (Vietnam)


We are proud of these students for earning these competitive scholarships and commend their hard work and commitment.
