Spring 2026 - Global BBA Students Explore Graduate Study at NUCB Business School

Global BBA students recently had the opportunity to visit NUCB Business School in Nagoya to gain a closer understanding of graduate education and the opportunities available after completing their undergraduate studies. Several exchange students also joined the visit, creating a diverse group eager to learn more about life at one of Japan’s leading business schools.

The program began with an introduction to NUCB Business School and its position within the wider NUCB educational community. Participants learned about the school's commitment to developing globally minded business professionals and the role that international accreditations play in maintaining high academic standards. Staff members also discussed how the curriculum is designed to connect theory with practical business challenges, preparing students for leadership roles in a rapidly changing global environment.

Experiencing the Graduate Learning Environment

Following the introduction, students toured the Marunouchi Campus and were able to see the facilities used by graduate students on a daily basis. The group visited lecture rooms, study areas, and collaborative spaces that support both individual learning and group discussion. Observing the campus during a regular academic day provided valuable insight into the atmosphere and culture of graduate study.

One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity to observe an MBA class in session. Students were able to witness firsthand the interactive nature of graduate-level learning, where participants actively contributed their ideas, challenged different viewpoints, and worked through real-world business cases. For many visitors, this experience helped illustrate how classroom dynamics evolve at the graduate level and how professional experience often becomes an important part of the learning process.

Global BBA Program - 100% English Taught

The Global BBA is the first bachelor's degree program at a private university to be offered in English, combining the Faculty of Management, Commerce and Economics - implementing Interdisciplinary Programs among multiple Faculties. All classes in the Global BBA are taught using the case method, which allows students to experience real-life business decision-making, and the aim is to become international leaders who can propose their own ideas to society through international and inquiry-based learning.
