Seto SOLAN School Visit - Fall 2026 Cultural Enrichment Activities

On October 27, 2026, Global BBA and exchange students participated in a Cultural Exchange Event at Seto SOLAN Primary and Elementary School, in Aichi Prefecture. The event provided an opportunity for students to experience Japanese culture, connect with local pupils, and learn more about everyday school life in Japan.

Building Cultural Connections at Seto SOLAN School

The Grade 8 pupils and event organizers put great care into preparing a programme to introduce Japanese culture to NUCB’s international students, some of whom had arrived in Japan only a few months earlier.

Activities included a student-led tour of the school, an origami class, and a variety of games and interactive activities. These experiences allowed the students to learn from one another in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The NUCB exchange students also had the opportunity to make and taste "anmitsu", a traditional Japanese dessert made of rice cake, fruit and ice cream, that proved to be a great success.

Throughout the event, the pupils’ enthusiasm and thoughtful preparation helped create a warm atmosphere for cultural exchange. NUCB would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all the pupils, teachers, and organizers who contributed to making this event such a memorable experience.
