Case Writing Fall 2025 Final Presentation

NEW #Global BBA #Case Writing

The Final Case Presentation was recently held for students graduating in March 2026 from the Global BBA Program, where they presented the original cases they had created as part of their coursework.

What Is an “Original Case”?

Instead of a traditional graduation thesis, students in the Global BBA Program are required to submit an original case they have written themselves. The program emphasizes case method–based learning to develop students’ analytical thinking and decision-making skills. The insights and perspectives gained through these classes are reflected in their original case work.

Through this process, students develop cases designed not only for analysis but also for use in actual classroom settings.

Final Case Presentation

At this year’s Final Case Presentation, three students presented the original cases they had authored. Each student selected a single company as the focus of their case. The companies examined included HYBE, Nintendo, and Mossack Fonseca, covering a range of industries and business contexts.

During the presentations, the students explained the overview of their already submitted original cases, focusing on the background, the issues identified, and the analytical perspectives adopted. They also introduced the structure of their teaching notes and discussed how their cases could be used in actual classroom settings. The presenters explained which types of courses their cases would be suitable for and the educational objectives they were designed to support. For example, they described how the cases could be applied in courses dealing with design thinking, with specific ideas for class development.

The presentations drew on the students’ experience with case method–based learning in the Global BBA Program and provided an opportunity to consider how original cases can be used as educational materials within the curriculum.

Global BBA Program Case Writing

NUCB Global BBA Program includes Case Writing as an important part of the curriculum, serving as an alternative to a traditional bachelor’s thesis. Over the course of two years, 3rd and 4th year students work through four case seminars, learning how to create original business cases and insight notes under the guidance of a case advisor, while analyzing real companies and business situations.
