Campus Life - Global BBA Orientation Spring 2021

On Thursday 25th March, NUCB Undergraduate School held an online orientation to virtually welcome the new international students joining us in Spring 2021.

In total, students from 38 nationalities joined the session, a mixture of full-time students, transfer students, as well as students from our partner schools coming on an exchange or completing a double degree.

The orientation allows us to introduce the Global BBA program and campus facilities to students, as well as the opportunity to meet key staff and current students so they can be confident to start their new life at NUCB.

After an explanation of administrative procedures (student visa, part-time work permit, health insurance, etc.) and useful systems, we held an information session on our primary method of delivery - Participant-Centered Learning through the use of case studies.

Current third-year Global BBA students explained their tips for success to ensure that students are not overwhelmed when classes start.

The session wrapped up with information on our language exchange program, and the opportunity to connect with Japanese students through our Cultural exchange student association (CESA).
