Shining Stars: Award Ceremony of the 2022 Academic Year for Excellent Students

The 2022 Supporters' Association Outstanding Student Awards Ceremony took place at the Nisshin Campus on Wednesday, June 7th. Organized annually by the University's Supporters' Association, this ceremony recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in the previous year.

A total of 168 students were honored at the event. Among them, 28 students received the prestigious distinction of Perfect Attendance with Top Honors, while 11 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance with Top Honors. Additionally, 44 students were commended for their Perfect Attendance with Honors, and 85 students were acknowledged for maintaining perfect attendance.

Among the Global BBA students, Rodrigo from Mexico achieved Perfect Attendance with Top Honors, Aamina from Sri Lanka received Top Honors, and Haesong from Korea had perfect attendance. For the International Students studying in Japanese (正規留学生), Kang from Korea received Perfect Attendance with Top Honors, Sharon from Malaysia achieved Perfect Attendance with Honors, and Liu from China, Yang from China, and Ngan from Vietnam were all awarded Perfect Attendance.

These deserving students were presented with certificates and commemorative gifts, celebrating their remarkable accomplishments in attendance and academic excellence.

Criteria for Recognition of Student Excellence

• Perfect Attendance：This award is given to students who had a 100% attendance rate throughout the previous academic year and achieved a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 2.2 points or above. It recognizes their consistent attendance and strong academic performance.
• Perfect Attendance with Honors: This award is presented to students who fulfill the criteria of "Perfect Attendance" and received grades of "S," "A," or "B" in all courses taken during the previous academic year, while maintaining a GPA of 2.2 points or above. It recognizes their outstanding attendance, consistent high performance, and academic excellence.
• Top Honors: This award is bestowed upon students who received grades of "S" or "A" exclusively in all courses taken during the previous academic year. It recognizes their exceptional performance and signifies that they achieved the highest level of excellence in their studies.
• Perfect Attendance with Top Honors: This prestigious award is granted to students who meet the criteria of both "Perfect Attendance" and "Top Honors" It recognizes students who achieved perfect attendance throughout the previous academic year and received the highest level of academic performance, having attained grades of "S" or "A" exclusively in all courses. This award celebrates their remarkable dedication, consistent attendance, and exceptional academic accomplishments.
