Why did you want to study in Japan?

I love to travel around the world, meet new people, and experience new cultures. Japan is one of the countries that I have not visited before and I have always planned to travel there. I saw this as the right time and opportunity to visit Japan to study.

What made you choose the Global BBA Program?

I did some research looking for business schools and I saw NUCB as an excellent choice having world recognized education that I was looking for. The application process went pretty smoothly because I did a lot of preparation and my friend helped me with mock interviews.

What is your impression of the Case Study Method? What has been your favorite class so far and why?

The Case Study method is new for me but I actually enjoy it as it is a unique way of learning compared to the traditional style where the professor talks and the students listen.

I like how students come from all around the world and we get to exchange our cultures, be friends, and learn new outcomes. During the group discussion of the case study I get to listen to many different perspectives allowing me to think more in-depth by analyzing other students' opinions.

My favorite class so far has been Introduction to Accounting by Professor Frendy. I like to mess around with numbers and calculations because I am pretty good at math, so I found the class fun and interesting.

What dormitory are you in, what do you think of it? How do you spend your free time?

I am staying at International Dormitory - Sanbongi Campus, and so far, I am enjoying it. Currently all of my classes are in the afternoon, so in the morning, I usually use the school gym to exercise and work out. In the evening I read the case to prepare for the next day.

Do you have any advice for those considering NUCB?

For those who are thinking to join the Global BBA Program, do not be afraid to talk. Let your voice out, participate in the class and make new friends. Furthermore, I highly recommend being prepared and studying the case before attending the class. The more you prepare, the more you are able to express your opinions.
