Why did you choose Japan to further your studies?

I figured that Japan is a great place to learn business since the country itself is one of the most well-developed nations with well-established companies. I was hoping to create a more global perspective and look for new business or career opportunities in Japan.

Where did you first hear of NUCB? Why did you choose the Global BBA Program?

I first came across NUCB at a Japan education expo in Jakarta. NUCB offers what many universities in Japan do not - an international environment where professors and students come from all around the world. Additionally, NUCB has AACSB accreditation which means that it provides an excellent education.

Some students prefer cities like Tokyo, what made you interested in coming to Greater Nagoya?

One reason why I choose this city is because the cost of living compared to Tokyo is much lower and Tokyo is also quite mainstream. I want to explore new places. Another good thing about Nagoya is that it's close to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto because it lies in the middle of those cities.  On holidays, I think it's great that I and my friends can visit those places with ease.

What is your impression of the Case Study method?

The Case Study method was very new to me. I never had the case study method back in my high school. All my lesson in Indonesia mainly focused on memorizing information from the textbook or lectures. The Case Study method will help me to improve my speaking and critical thinking skills which will be useful in strategic thinking and presentations in the future, especially in the consulting industry which I am considering working in.

My favorite classes would be Financial Management and International Business because I like learning finance and business strategies. I can learn a lot about the financial industry and several financial instruments in the financial management course. In the international management, I get to learn about various multinational companies and their strategies which leads them to success
in expanding globally.

What is your favorite facility on campus?

My favorite facility on the campus would be the Book Café because it is a good place to do my
assignments and I like the atmosphere of the place.
