Over the past weekend, NUCB Undergraduate School held a successful Open Campuses at the Nisshin and Nagoya Campuses.

In addition to case method experience classes from each faculty, we introduced the differences between the Management, Economics and Commerce faculties in a panel discussion.

Below is a look back at the Open Campus.

MBA-style Case Method Experience Class & Student Voice


  • Chancellor Kurimoto using a case on climbing the Himalayas to discuss leadership and teamwork, essential skills for business.

  • Dean Iwasawa, using a case on behavioral economics to discuss how to make rational decisions in important situations involving money.

  • Dean Ono, using a case on Universal Studios Japan for marketing based on the admission fee.

  • Associate Professor Oda, using a case to discuss strategic management.

  • Professor Townley teaching how to use English auxiliary verbs related to permits, prohibitions, and obligations in an active learning format under the theme of "what you can and cannot do in a camp in Australia".

  • A 3rd-year undergraduate student speaking about his decision to choose the Nagoya Campus for his BBA Studies and the skills he has acquired through active learning classes and volunteer programs.

NUCB Advantages


  • Panel Discussion

    Deans from the Faculties of Management, Economics and Commerce explain about the differences between the faculties and the unique characteristics of NUCB in a panel discussion format. W

  • World Standard Evaluation

    Professor Yokoyama from the NUCB Business School gave a presentation on our Schools drive to meet the strict international standards to provide world-class education.

  • Faculty of International Studies introduction & experience

    Professor Warrington explained the characteristics of the Faculty of International Studies, and the International Affairs team explained the abundant study abroad programs on offer, including student experiences.

  • Campus Tour

    The Nisshin / Nagakute Campus is the largest (private) campus in Aichi Prefecture. The tour showcased the active learning classrooms, the Central Information Center (library) which holds more than 200,000 books, and the popular Sora Cafe.

  • Club Tour

    There are over 50 clubs and circles available on the Nisshin / Nagakute campus. Visitors experienced the full range of clubs on offer at NUCB, including boys 11-a-side soccer practice.

  • 2022 Application Procedure

    A detailed information session to explain the changes for applying for entrance in 2022, including the points to excel in the interview.

  • NUCB Advantages Presentation

    Introducing the two campuses of NUCB Undergraduate School and what makes us unique.

  • Parent Information Session

    Held for parents only, this information session covered student support, scholarships, and employment outcomes.

The next Open Campus will be held at the Nisshin/Nagakute Campus on Thursday, September 23 (National Holiday). We look forward to seeing you there.
