September 2021 Open Campus Report

After a succesful Open Campus on Thursday, September 23rd, please find below the report on the days' activities.

For visitors interested in our Global BBA Program, we provided a day full of activities in English, including a campus tour, presentation, individual consultations and a visit to Prof. Hui's class on Human Resource Management.

For international students wanting to study in Japanese, we provided a hands-on demonstration class from Prof. Isono to showcase the support we provide for those wanting to improve their language skills. Selina, a current 4th-year Management student from Malaysia, provided a tour for the students, and also shared her experience at NUCB, which included the scholarships she has received, her gap year and overseas exchange programs, and her favorite activities on campus.

One Costa Rican student who came all the way from Tokyo commented:

I really enjoyed the event, Nisshin Campus is very beautiful. The case method demonstration class taught by Prof. Hui was really interesting. Today I walked around the city and went to famous sightseeing spots. I like the city a lot and looking forward to visit again.

  • Business course experience class

    Professor Yoshii conducted a case method lesson on Economic Ethics.

  • Global course experience class

    Professor Lee taught English expressions that can be used for overseas travel.

  • Special Presentation: Why NUCB

    A special lecture was given by Chancellor Kurimoto of NUCB Undergraduate School and Professor Yokoyama, Assistant Dean of NUCB Business School which covered the university's efforts to provide world-class education adhering to international accreditation standards.

  • Specialized course introduction

    An overview of the Data Science, Civil Servant, and Tax Accounting specialized courses that will start in 2022.

Open Campus Events


  • Class Visits

    Open Campus participants had the opportunity to visit classes, including the fully English taught Global BBA program to fully understand the case methodology of teaching.

  • Faculty of International Studies

    Associate Professor Hideharu Isono explained about the Faculty of International Studies, and the international affairs department talked about the abundant study abroad programs available.

  • 2022 entrance examination explanation

    A detailed information session to explain the changes for applying for entrance in 2022, including the points to excel in the interview.

  • University presentation

    Introduction of the two campuses of NUCB Undergraduate School and the educational environment we provide accredited by AACSB.

  • Campus Tour

    Staff and students guided participants around the campus and introduced the new book cafe, a collaboration with Sora Cafe and Maruzen.

  • Individual Consutlations

    Knowledgable staff members answered questions from participants covering entrance exams, studying abroad, scholarships, student dormitories, and employment.

  • International Students Demo Lesson

    A special open campus was held for international students of Japanese language schools. Participants enjoyed a demonstration lesson by Associate Professor Hideharu Isono of the Faculty of International Studies, campus tour, and Q&A with a current 4th-year student from Malaysia.

The next Open Campus will be held on Wednesday, November 3 at the Nisshin/Nagakute Campus. We look forward to seeing you there.
