Our early summer Open Campus took place at NUCB Undergraduate School in Nisshin on Sunday, June 9th. A big thank you to our wonderful GBBA volunteer students – Lisa (USA), Aileth (Mexico), Fathima (India), Naima (Indonesia), Hannah (Philippines), Namhaa (India), Reza (Indonesia), Zayd (India), Thi Han (Myanmar), and Pongpop (Thailand) – for their amazing help that made the day truly special.
Students and families from India, Peru, South Africa, Philippines, and more, joined us to explore what NUCB has to offer. The guests who joined the Overnight Boarding Experience the day before, also participated in the Open Campus. Our day began with a Global BBA info session and case method demo lesson, followed by a campus tour. Lastly, visitors enjoyed a relaxing break at our university cafeterias, Sora Cafe and Hananoki, where guests had a taste of university life.
In Professor Frendy's class, students experienced a demo class, in which they studied the case "Sagamine Festival: 2023", which aims to allow students to experience the basics of entrepreneurship and event management through the context of NUCB's Sagamine Festival. The goal of the case was to gain practical skills in planning, marketing, and financial management by creating a fun and engaging festival experience.
As a special treat, one of our GBBA students, Aileth from Mexico, who did an exchange program at Goethe University Frankfurt (Germany), gave everyone a peek into her exchange experience through an insightful presentation.
We are committed to offering diverse opportunities for high school students and their parents to discover the allure of NUCB. Our upcoming Open Campus is scheduled for Sunday, July 28th, for which registration will be available soon. We also accept individual visits if that fits your schedule better. We look forward to seeing you!
